Senior Designer (Branding)

Brief description

We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Designer with a passion for branding and a portfolio that demonstrates their expertise in delivering compelling visual narratives. As a Senior Designer, you will lead projects that shape the visual direction of emerging and established brands, ensuring every design tells a story and connects with its audience.

Key responsibilities

Lead branding projects from conception to completion, ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic brand identities and ensure cohesive brand experiences across all touchpoints.
Conduct and apply thorough research and analysis to inform design decisions and strategies.
Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback to elevate their work and foster a collaborative team environment.
Present concepts and designs to clients with persuasive and clear articulation, showcasing the brand’s vision and design rationale.
Remain ahead of design trends and industry developments to ensure our agency and clients stay at the leading edge of branding.
Manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently, ensuring all work is of the highest quality and delivered on schedule.\
Guide and manage freelance resource personals and suppliers (Ex – copywriters illustrators, printers) to create desired output for the projects.
Take ownership of the creative process, including initial ideation, concept development, and final execution.
Create and steward brand style guides and design systems to ensure brand consistency.
Engage in client workshops, pitches, and presentations, demonstrating thought leadership and design expertise.

Minimum requirement

A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. (Not compulsory but ideal)
A minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in a branding or design agency with a strong portfolio showcasing branding projects.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
Profficiency in using generative AI tools, motion graphics/animation and 3D design tools will be an added advantage.
Exceptional skills in typography, composition, and color theory.
Proven experience in leading design projects and teams with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
Strong understanding of brand strategy and how it translates into design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and design decisions effectively.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously with a solutions-focused mindset.
A strong sense of ownership and a meticulous eye for detail.
